Oviedo is known for it’s chickens — not in our neighborhood, but they wander the streets in the little old downtown area — so we feel a connection with you! And the eggs are beautiful!

In related news… while we were away, NY suffered a mini tornado which ripped up Central Park pretty badly. It’s almost painful to see the huge trees that have been reduced to holes in the ground (by the park service) after that were destroyed. GLAD Mary’s house was spared.

They’re gorgeous, Farmer Brown. And, I’m sure you remember how long any of
us made good on promised to Mom and Dad about taking care of the various
dog and cats! You must’ve seen it coming.

Love the chickens! The girls have grown so much…I don’t think the term “little” applies to them any more. So glad all of you are enjoying the new chapter in your life. Reminds me of when I moved from Massachusetts to Tennessee.

Laura is coming home this weekend so we can go “wedding dress” shopping. They are planning a wedding at his parent’s house in Hiawassi in June. They really make a sweet couple.

What a neat thing! We all need reminding that food doesn’t start out in our grocer’s refrigerated case, wrapped in cardboard & plastic.
